Travel Hairstyle

Thursday, April 03, 2014

Hello guys! So I go on holiday tomorrow, so I thought I'd continue with the current theme of holiday posts. Today, I'll be showing you a quick and easy hairstyle that is great for travelling and will leave you with lovely hair for the first day of your holiday.

When I'm on a plane, especially for long haul flights, it is always a lot easier to have my hair up and out of the way. It always ends up getting in my face or going all over the place, but this hairstyle will prevent it. Since I always wash my hair the day before a flight, I usually dry it that night/morning until it is about 90% done.

To start this easy up-do, tie your hair into a ponytail. It can either be on top of your head, to the side or at the nape of your neck, which ever you prefer. Then, you twist the hair, trying to get as close to the ends as possible. Wrap this twisted hair around your bobble, forming a twisted type of bun. And voilĂ , that's it.

You may think this hairstyle is kind of pointless, but if you leave it in for over 24 hours, you will wake up the next day with gorgeous, beach waves, ready for the first day of your holiday!

This is what the final waves should look like. I don't own this image but I'm not sure where it is from.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post!
