Hey guys! So today, I thought I'd do a March favourites post, since it's almost the end of the month. These posts are always highly requested and I love writing them, so here are my current favourite items.

First up is quite an unknown product in the beauty world but has to be one of my favourites. It's the Lacura Beauty- Volume Mascara. This mascara was really cheap and is only sold at some supermarkets, but it is honestly really good. It applies really easily and makes my lashes look a lot nicer, without them looking spidery. The consistency of it is really good and isn't clumpy at all. If you're looking for a cheap but good mascara, I highly recommend this!

Next is my Models Own lipgloss. I can't see anywhere on the tube what the name or colour of it is, but it's a beautiful coral colour that is very subtle. I've been loving it as it looks great on its own, but it's really good over lipstick. It's not sticky at all and lasted longer on my lips than I thought it would!

The scent that I've been using the most this month is the Soap and Glory- Girligo Body Moisturising Mist. I've been using this after showers and I've really loved it. It smells absolutely gorgeous! I expected it to be quite sticky and not sit on my skin very well, but it is actually really moisturising (hence the name) and leaves me feeling really fresh!

For skincare, I've been loving some face wipes this month. I know you're not supposed to use wipes on a regular basis, but these are really good and it's hard to resist! Nivea's Daily Essential Facial Wipes have been great for me this month. I've had lots off dance shows and exams etc., where I've been so tired afterwards that I didn't want to do my usual skincare routine. These take my makeup off really easily, leaving behind nice, happy skin!

March is always an awkward month for clothes, since it's in between winter and spring. This month, I've been wearing a lot of short sleeved jumpers. They're all really furry and keep me warm, and they are really easy to layer up with jackets. If it's a bit warmer, I can still wear them, as they're really versatile. An added bonus is that they're in fashion as well!

My last favouite from this month is my new favourite TV show, Dance Moms! I love dance so it's great to watch every at the ALDC rehearse and compete. There is loads of drama and arguments, especially between Abby and the mums. All of the girls are really talented and overall it's a great TV show!

That's all from me today, I hope you liked this post. I'll see you again on Tuesday, when I will be uploading my 'What's In My Makeup Bag, Holiday Edition' post! Bye for now,

Hi everyone! I don't usually upload on a Saturday, but since I have a lot of posts I'm waiting to upload, it would've been a few weeks before you would've seen this. Anyway, I went shopping today with my best friend and I bought a few things from various shops, so I thought I'd share them with you.

The first things I got were skincare products. Anyone who has read my other posts know that I love the T-Zone range, so I decided to pick up their Blackhead Fighting Facial Scrub. I've been getting a lot of blackheads lately and I ran out of my face scrub a few weeks ago. This was only 99p from bodycare. I also got some cotton wool, which was again 99p for 80.

The next 3 things are makeup items. If you saw my Wishlist post not long ago, you'll know I've been wanting the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer for a long time. Today, I finally decided to get it. It was £4.19 from Boots. Also from Boots, I got the Natural Collection Pressed Powder. I already have the MUA powder, but it was quite orange. I'm hoping this one will be better. From Superdrug, I got an MUA lipstick in the shade 16. It's a coral/orange colour that's really vivid but pretty. It was only £1!

The last thing I got was this gorgeous top from New Look. It's lace with a Daisy flower print. It has a vest attached to the inside. I really love it as it's super cute, summery and is related to my name! Although it was fairly pricey at £23.99, I think it was worth it!

I hope you liked this post, I'll be doing more hauls in the future if you wish. Thanks for reading!

This hairstyle is really easy to master yet it will amaze your friends by it's unique look. You can style it in many ways, whether it's in your ponytail, wrapped around your head, a four strand French braid or the many other possibilities there are. Enjoy!

Start by splitting your hair into four equal strands, holding two in each hand. Start by taking the piece furthest to the left (1) over the one next to it (2). Then do the same with piece 3 and piece 4 (take piece 3 over piece 4). After this cross the two middle pieces over each other, with the one closest to the right (3) crossing over the one closer to the left (2). Keep repeating these 3 simple steps until you're finished!

It might be hard to get used to this at first, as holding 4 strands at once may be tricky at first. Once you've got the hang of this, it'll be easy. After a bit of practice, it'll only take a few minutes to complete this plait which looks like it took a lot longer!

It's time for another Desire of Our Hearts post. This time it will be about body image and loving ourselves. So here we go! (I apologise if this is quite a long blog post, but it is about something so important that needs to be said)

In school lately, I've been doing a lot of work to do with body image and how the media and other people may affect our perception of beauty. It's probably because I'm 14, which is around the time where people start judging themselves and comparing them to others. Before I talk some more, let me just tell you that you are beautiful. No matter what.

Whether you hair is long or short, your skin is pale or dark, your figure is slim or curvy or you're small or tall, it doesn't matter. You're still beautiful. Everyone has their flaws and things they don't like about themselves, but I bet if you asked someone else, they'd instantly be able to point out something beautiful about you. Just watch this video, I bet it will make you think differently.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't look after yourself, as everyone could drink more water, eat healthier and do more exercise, but no dieting or starving yourself, because there isn't any need to. You need to love yourself and be comfortable in your own skin. Don't try and change yourself, or convince yourself that everyone else is prettier than you, because you're the best you can be and you should admire that.

That's all from me. If you're enjoying these new type of posts, then just let me know and more will be on the way!

I was treated to a new pair of shoes this week, which I was thrilled about! Here's what they are like and what I think of them.

They are from boohoo.com and are a beautiful pair of madison flats. They have a t-bar, which I really like in shoes, and some cut-out detailing. I got them in white, but they also come in black, red and pink. The little rose gold buckle is super cute and a great add-on. I also love how they are quite slim but long, as that is the size of my feet and it's often hard to find shoes that fit. They come in sizes 3 to 8 (me being 3) and they are £25, which is really good considering they are a good quality pair of shoes!

This is the photo of them from the boohoo website. In my opinion, the soles and insides are paler in real life.

I hope you liked this post. I'm afraid that these shoes are no longer available so you can't buy them. Thank you for reading.

Hello everyone! I decided to try something new today, so I thought I'd do a tag post called 'The Beauty Blogger Tag'. I found this when I was looking at beautyandthings.com (which I love by the way) and I thought it looked really fun. Here we go!

Rules:
State that this tag was created by The Beau Bow
Tag as many beauty bloggers as you like
Title this post the 'Beauty Blogger Tag'

1. Name a beauty routine you barely do.
I never really fill in my eyebrows. I pluck them when they need doing and I brush them, but I never really need to fill them in or draw them on. They're pretty defined as they are and I'm happy with them the way they are.

2. Is washing your brushes something you regularly do?
Occasionally, yes, but I don't wash them a lot.

3. How long do you last with chipped nail varnish?
Only a few days. Once it starts to chip it really annoys me, so I repaint them or take them off.

4. How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty item, even if you need it?
I'm a saver, so I don't often spend a lot of money on makeup products. It could be a few months before I convince myself to buy something and it won't go to waste.

5. What is your worst beauty habit?
Not properly cleansing my face twice a day. When I get into a routine I'm pretty good at taking care of my skin, but if I'm particularly lazy I never bother to the extent that I should.

6. Name something non-beauty related that you tend to put off all the time?
Tidying my room. It's probably because I'm quite busy, but whenever my room is messy it may be a long time before it's clean again.

7. When you go out somewhere do you leave getting ready until the last minute or not?
If I have a party or an event that I know about before it happens, I tend to spend the whole day getting ready. However, if I'm getting ready for something I just found out about, it's pretty much always a rush.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?
I've never needed to have a spending ban, as I don't spend enough on a regular basis to be banned! Sorry but I'm a saver!

9. How organised is your makeup collection?
Not very, I just have my necessary makeup in a makeup bag and everything else in my draws. It could be a lot better.

10. What is the longest time you have gone without writing a blog post?
Only about a week, which is a lot in my eyes. Even if I only post a few times in the week, I'm often writing future posts. I've not had this blog long though, so it could end up a lot longer.

Thank you everyone for reading this post! Instead of tagging a few specific people to try out this, I'm just going to leave it open to everyone! And thank you for thebeaubow.blogspot.co.uk for making this tag!

Hello everyone! Today, I thought I'd bring you a review of a foundation that I really liked using, which is the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum. I've never mentioned it on my blog before, probably because I finished it before I created Daisies and Delights and haven't repurchased it yet. Anyway, I hope you like this post!

bourjois.co.uk

I really like the packaging of this foundation, as it's quite simplistic yet still stands out, due to the bright red lid. The writing is clear and easy to read, but tends to scratch off after a while, which is the only negative that I can find with the presentation of the product. This foundation is in a really slim and lightweight tube, which is great as it easily fits in my makeup bag and I can travel with it if necessary. It also has a pump, which is incredibly convenient and I couldn't go without this feature.

The pumps in this foundation are quite generous, so 1-2 tends to do for my whole face, but you might prefer to use more or less. It applies in a thin, even layer and blends out really well, covering the entirety of my face without difficulty. I only went for one layer of this foundation, but it can easily be built up if you want.

This foundation is really dewy has a slight bit of shimmer in it, which gives a real fresh look. I found that the colour can look quite orange at times, especially if a lot of it is applied, but this could just be an issue with the shade I picked. The coverage is quite light, so I'd recommend this to someone just looking for a little something to even out their skin tone. However, I have quite a bit of redness and hyper-pigmentation, so I need to use a heavy-duty concealer when wearing  this.

This foundation tends to last for quite some time and I've found it to be still in place at the end of the day. As it is quite dewy it may need powdering, especially if you have oily skin, but other than this it lasts really well. I would recommend to be careful if you have extremely dry skin, as this foundation tends to cling to those patches at times. This can be minimised by using a moisturiser or primer beforehand.

Overall, this product is great for some people and looks really nice, but there are some evident flaws. I would recommend it for someone who likes light and dewy makeup, or if you want subtle coverage for school or work. I hope you liked this review and I'll be back soon with a new post!

These are the products which I'd really like to have. Some are quite cheap and I'll probably end up getting soon, others are high end products that I'll only dream about having. I'm also a spender, not a saver, so I struggle buying things!

Collection- Lasting Perfection Concealer
This product is supposed to be a dream! Literally every beauty blogger and youtuber has recommended this. I'm quite low on concealer at the moment and so many people have said this one stands out. It's supposed to have really good coverage and be great at covering up spots and under-eye circles.

collectioncosmetics.com.sg

Benefit- Boi-ing Concealer
Another concealer, but this one is really good. My mum has this and I've tried it out. I really like it! It is simple to apply but blends really well and left my skin looking flawless. I definitely want to buy this for myself.

sephora.com

Rimmel- Stay Matte Pressed Powder
This powder is supposed to be really good, especially for everyday use. I only have an MUA powder, which is good quality considering it's only £1, but I've been wanting to try a better quality one for some time now and I think this is the one I need.

us.rimmellondon.com

Mac- Chatterbox Lipstick
I don't wear a huge amount of lipstick, but I do know that Mac lipsticks are supposed to be the best. I don't have anything Mac (yet) but I really think this would be great to start with as it's a beautiful shade and I would wear if often.

kadbeauty.blogspot.com

Urban Decay- Naked Palette
This is something that I've wanted since I first took an interest to beauty a few years ago. I'm not a huge fan of vivid eyeshadow, especially not for everyday wear, but I wear neutrals all the time. This palette has lots of beautiful neutral colours, all of which would look great. The pigmentation is supposed to be amazing and there are so many things you can do with these eyeshadows.

debenhams.com

Maybelline- Baby Lips
About 6 months ago, there was a huge craze for baby lips, as they were the 'next big thing'. I'm not a 'sheep' as some people may call it, as I don't tend to follow the crowd and buy what everyone else does. I decided to wait a while to see if they were as good as they are supposed to be, or whether it was just the cute packaging that got people to buy them. 6 months later and everyone still loves them! I really need to get one now.

cosmopolitan.co.uk

Soap and Glory- Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Shine Lacquer
I don't own any of the Soap and Glory makeup, but it's supposed to be great quality but at a reasonable price. The product which I've heard the most praise about has got to be this. It looks like a beautiful gloss and I'd love to try it.

boots.com

Maybelline- Colour Tattoos
These eyeshadow bases are supposed to be really good and last all day without creasing. My eyeshadow often creases, so I could do with getting one of these. I especially love the neutral colours, because that's how I like to wear my eyeshadow.

So that's my wishlist! I hope you enjoyed it!

First of all, this post won't be about beauty, fashion or skincare in any way. If you are waiting for my newest blog post, I will be uploading my beauty wishlist tomorrow.

Today, Saturday 15th March, was the day I done my first ever musical theatre exam. Sure, I've done performance exams before in the specific principles, but never an all-round performing one. Me and the girls in my age-group had to prepare 2 scenes, 3 songs and dances to go with each one. It was really hard as we weren't allowed much input from the teachers, as in the exam we were asked why we staged scenes in certain ways. It was also really hard to sing well while dancing full-out. Here's how it went:

We started by introducing our characters and answering questions about the piece. This bit was quite easy as it was stuff we already knew and had studied when researching our characters and the pieces.

Next was Smell of Rebellion, which was performed by the Truchbull and the rest of us done some movement. This was really fun and was a great way to start.

After this we done the scene before Quiet and then the song with the same name. The scene went as planned, but stupidly I went to the wrong side and had to change some of my staging. Oops!

The Quiet song went really well, we all remembered the choreography. I sang the last bit as a solo and I managed to belt my notes (I struggled with in the rehearsals) and I stayed in tune!

We then done the Bruce scene which was really good and flowing, having lots of energy and enthusiasm. It really was amazing.

To finish it all of was the Bruce dance and song, which was phenomenal. We were all excellent in this and our teachers were overly impressed with our ability to dance while singing. It went great, I think this piece was the one that blew away the examiner!

All went well, the examiner only asked us a few more questions such as did we enjoy it and how long we'd been rehearsing for. Oh, and I left my hoodie in the examination room, which was stupid of me. Apart from that and a few slip ups it went great and we all performed to the best of our ability!

Thanks for reading, sorry about this being an unrelated post but I hope you enjoyed it anyway!

This makeup routine is for anyone who isn't allowed to wear much makeup, has school or just wants to embrace their inner beauty!

These are the products I am most likely to use if I want to wear natural makeup. Note: this post won't be product reviews of each one, but it may contain a few opinions on them.

1. I start by applying Seventeen- On the Spot Foundation, in soft ivory. It has SPF 15 to protect my skin throughout the day and contains salicylic acid to help spots. I use a normal foundation brush to apply this, using it only where I have spots or redness.

2. Next, I powder my face with the MUA pressed powder, in the shade 01. This holds my foundation in place through the day, which is important if I have dance or sports, which I often do. Good product for only £1!

3. Since my eyes are always really tired of a morning, I like to open them up a bit by curling my eyelashes. It really makes a difference and leaves me looking more awake.

4. The next step is to shape my brows. I use the Essence- Lash and Brow Gel Mascara. (I got this in Spain, I'm not sure if you can buy it in the UK) It holds my eyebrows in place and neatens them up, without much effort needed. I sometimes use it on my eyelashes as well, if they are looking particularly short. (I don't wear mascara for school)

5. I then like to add a nice rosy cheek, using the Bourjois- Cream Blush in 03. This step makes me look a lot healthier and glowing, which is always a good thing. It's also a really nice colour, making me look naturally blushed.

6. Lastly, I use my Classic Cherry Chapstick on my lips, just to hydrate them and make them a bit smoother. There is a slight tint to it, but it isn't that noticeable and just makes my lips feel lovely and soft!

I hope you enjoyed this post! If you want product reviews on any of these, just ask me down in the comments and we'll see.

I've decided to start a new series of posts, called Desire of Our Hearts. Cheesy, I know, but I feels like it sums up what I want to achieve by writing them. Every few weeks, I will share a inspirational quote or a motivational picture with you and we will share how it can inspire you. I figured that this week was great to start, since we're in Lent.

This quote is such a beautiful one. It reads "Happiness isn't a destination, it's a way of life."

It basically means, being happy isn't about one place or thing, it's what you choose to do and how you spend your life. It's not just being in one place and feeling great, but how you spend your entire life knowing that you're happy and doing the right thing.

It's quite hard to explain this in a few words, but if I had to, it would be "True happiness is throughout your whole life" This quote has helped make me feel better when I'm upset or lonely, as it makes me realise the true meaning of happiness.

That's all from me today! I hope you enjoyed this post, there'll be more coming soon.

Hey everyone! First of all, I'm really sorry I didn't manage to do a midweek post, my internet was down from Wednesday to Friday, so I had no way of uploading it! Anyway, on with the post.

I decided that I'm going to start teaching you some hairstyles, as well my usual posts. I will probably upload one every 2 weeks, probably on a Saturday or a Sunday.

This hairstyle is called a rope braid, or a rope braid twist. It's really easy and only takes 2 minutes to do, yet will leave all of your friends amazed. Here's a picture of my hair in two mini rope braids.

You start by splitting your hair into two equal sections. Make sure they're as even as possible, otherwise the braid will be harder to complete later on. You then twist each piece of hair the same way. So that's both to the left or both to the right. (If you twist the strands in opposite directions, such as towards each other, it won't work)

This is probably the hardest bit. Take the two strands and wrap them around the opposite way. So if you twisted both strands to the left, wrap them around each other to the right. Repeat these steps as many times as you need to and then you're done. You might have to unravel the twists and re-twist them as it's hard holding really long twists and wrapping them around each other with only 2 hands.

Credit to Elle UK for this image.

There are many ways you can incorporate rope braids into your hair. You could do it in a ponytail at the back or side of your hair (as seen in the image), as a hairband across your head, one from either side of your head that meet in the middle, or in the strands of a bun or normal braid. The possibilities are endless!

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post! Leave comments below with your attempts on a rope braid and what other blog posts you'd like to see in the future.

Hey guys! This post is all about what skincare products I use the most and why I like them! I hope you enjoy it!

These are the products I use (not in this order)

1) Simple Eye Makeup Remover. I really like this eye makeup remover, it takes off my eye makeup really quickly and doesn't leave any behind, even if I'm wearing a lot or it's waterproof.

2) T-Zone Moisturiser. This moisturiser is really nourishing and makes my skin feel really soft afterwards. There's also a lot in the tube so it lasts forever!

3) Gatineau Anti Redness Cream. I got this product as a free sample but I really like it! I apply it of a morning if my skin is looking patchy or red and it takes it away. It's really good to wear instead of lots of foundation and concealer to cover up redness as it lasts throughout the day.

4) Quinoderm and Clearasil spot creams. These are my two most used spot creams as they're both really good and help my spots loads. The Clearasil one contains salysic acid, which is found in concealers and is best to be used of a morning or on mild spots. Quinoderm is a lot stronger as it contains benzoyl peroxide, which is very good at getting rid of all spots, even really bad ones. I use this of an evening, so it can spend longer on my skin.

5) T-Zone and Simple Cleansers. Both of these cleansers are easy to use and clean my skin well. The T-Zone one is applied on to cotton wool, whereas the simple one is rinsed off with hot water and a flannel. Both leave my skin feeling really fresh.

6) Soap and Glory Scrub. I'm not entirely sure whether this is made for your face and body or if it is only a body scrub, but I occasionally use this on my face and it really improves it. Often, I use the St Ives facial scrub, but I've just ran out so I didn't have a bottle to take a picture of.
