Top 5 Products For Under £10

Wednesday, May 27, 2015

Hello everyone! I'm back with a new post for you, which is my five favourite makeup items that cost less than £10. I know that a lot of people who read my blog are teenagers, like myself, so I thought that this would be really helpful and will show you cheaper makeup items that are still really good quality. I kept all of the items over £5, as I already shown you my favourite items from that price range, which you can check out here. Anyway, on with the post!

Maybelline Dream Sun Bronzer and Blusher
This is a really pretty bronzer and blusher that I've raved about quite a few times on my blog, and rightfully so as it's up there on my list of favourite products. This two-in-one cheek compact gives a natural, glowing tan and a vibrant pop of colour to the cheeks. The bronzer, in particular, is the perfect match for my skin tone and I find it really easy to wear, especially as it's matte and really buildable. The blusher is gorgeous and quite pigmented, creating a gorgeous flush. At £6.49, I'd definitely recommend giving this product a try. A review of it can be found here.

Bourjois Cream Blusher in 03
When I started blogging, this was by far my favourite cheek product and I used it on a daily basis. Bourjois are well-known for their powder blushers, but I often feel like these beautiful cream blushers don't receive enough praise at only £7.99. It has a cream to powder formulation which makes the application smooth and even, but it is still long lasting. It's quite pigmented, but can definitely be built up and blended out to create the desired look. There's a slight bit of shimmer running through the product which looks really nice when the light hits it. I own this in the shade 03 and it's a gorgeous colour, being really similar to my natural blush.

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks
I've been using these lip crayons all the time since I received them, so I knew that I had to feature them in this post. Upon application, they give quite a sheer wash of colour, but this can be intensified to create a really bold look. After a few layers, the colour is bold and opaque like a lipstick, but they still feel light and silky on the lips, much like a lipgloss. They are really easy to apply, wearable and even the smell of these is lovely. I really like the colour range of these products and find myself reaching for bashful, a perfect everyday pink, the most out of the ones I own. These products are £8 each and definitely worth purchasing. A review of these can be found here.

Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick
I don't talk about this lipstick as much as I should, since it's definitely one that I love wearing and I think it is really pretty. I own it in the shade pashmina, which is a neutral brown with hints of pink shimmer running through it. I think that this is a really sophisticated colour that I love to wear with more of a dressy, evening look. It's incredibly creamy and not at all drying on the lips, yet is still really pigmented. It lasts for quite a long time when applied and looks gorgeous paired with a statement eye. For £7.99, I'd recommend you check out this lipstick.

Barry M Natural Glow Palette
My final item on the list is this gorgeous palette, which I've definitely fallen in love with recently. It has all of the colours required for any eye look, whether you want something neutral, daytime appropriate or bolder. The eyeshadows have a really creamy formulation and are really pigmented, especially the metallics which are perfect for in the crease. The blusher included also works well as a highlighter, making this palette a multi-purpose one that is good for travel. I'd definitely take a look at this £6.49 palette, especially if you are new to makeup. A review of this product can be found here.

Thank you for reading this post and I hope you like the products I've featured! If there are any products you think I've left out or should've included, let me know down in the comments as I'd be more than happy to hear. I'll see you on Sunday with a new post, so bye for now!

Love from Daisy x
